Absolutely superb Ben!!!

Was this by any chance at the Hawk Conservancy? I went there at the very back end of last season and was lucky to be able to sit and watch them developing and practicing the new woodland owl flight display. To see the Eagle Owl silently gliding through the trees was incredible. No photos though as the light was terrible, couldn't get any kind of shutterspeed even with ISO3200. Must go back very soon.

Yep, bang on! I cant get enough of that place, although, on this visit it was so cold they didnt bring out the Griffon Vulture whichis a personal favourite.
Its pretty good that new Owl woodland. Though, I have to say it is a nightmare for us snappers, I must have got about three times as many shots of tree trunks as I did of owls!

I have been a few times now, and never tire of the place. I think I will wait until a little later, nearer the summer before I go next though :D

Thanks again! :D

My pleasure mate. You're right it's a top place to visit and they do fantastic work for the birds with some very successful breeding programs. My wife and I are both members. I've got next week off work so if the weather holds up I might head down there one day.
