The Griffin Vulture,
This is one from the archives, and taken with a 3mp camera.

Ohh... Darn. You've got much better looking vultures over in the U.K., which sounds weird, but the vultures where I live are ugly as sin.
Very nice capture, although I don't like that part of its wing was clipped out of the picture. Maybe it should be in the center. (Sorry. Nitpick. I shouldn't be talking. My photographic experience consists of Pokemon Snap. )
Ha ha, I wish they were indigenious to this country, this was taken at a place called 'The Hawk Conservancy' and they have birds like this from all over the world, and fly them them three or four times through the day.
As for the wing, your absolutely right, this isnt a crop though, and it really did fly that close!
Please dont ever apologise for giving critique on my pictures though, I always appreciate comments whether good or bad, so many many thanks! (comments like you have given help us photogrpahers improve you know!)

XD Ah, I see. No pretty vultures over there then? I've never been quite a fan of vultures, perhaps because my neighbors were cows (of the literal sense). When the crowd of vultures was circling over the field, you figure some poor little calf had bitten the dust. Now there’s corn next door, so no more vultures.
I’ve always liked falcons better anyway.
Ah, ye passed the acid critique test. Now I can crit you all I want without fear of getting my head bitten off. (Because not all artists are quite so nice. )
ha ha, your right, not all vultures are nice, but this is my favourite bird of prey, and submitted for a little competition for the Bird Club, you have to submit your favourite bird, this is only one of a couple I have of my favourite bird.
As for critiques, like I said, keep it coming, you can be as critical as you like with any of pictures, and I will appreciate it!

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
